Abiola School Field

The large grass field comes in very handy for many school activities such as this marching band.

On Field Day the students wear their casual uniforms and do exercises and play games under the careful supervision of their teachers.


These young children are learning a little poem about the rain falling on the grass, on the trees, and on the roof, but "not on me!" complete with actions. They repeat it over and over and over and over again. Most learning is done by rote memorization, probably one of the reasons our missonaries are so good at memorizing scripture.
We really hate it when school is out (for about 3 weeks at Easter) because we enjoy the entertainment.....when we get a minute to watch, that is.
