First stop: MTC! Here we are with the Neuders (Nigeria Lagos West Mission), soon to depart for Africa. The Neuders have had the experience of living 8 years in Lagos as he's been employed by the Exxon/Mobil company. We will be living in the same compound and we're looking forward to learning a lot from them.
Nigeria Lagos East Missionaries: There are 5 missions in Nigeria- Lagos East and West, Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Calabar. The 80 missionaries in our mission all come from Africa - mostly Nigeria, with some from Ghana, Togo, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Their average age is 25 (they range from 19 to 29) and they are well versed in the scriptures. A good looking bunch! (The missionaries.) Picture taken after church in Ibadan.
Our Chapel: This is our chapel compound in Lagos. The guard house is in the front, then the chapel. The Church service center is the red brick building at the back of the parking lot. Just barely to the right of the satellite dish is Spence's office window on the second floor. The white building just to the right of that is our new building where we will be living in a couple of months.
