The American Way vs The African Way

I have never seen such contented babies as these African babies that are carried on their mother's backs. I rarely hear them cry and they don't seem to need pacifiers....just the movements of their mother. The face on the first African baby is typical of what babies do when they see us. After that initial look the baby will usually burst out crying or just make an attempt to get as far away as possible. It's like they'd seen a ghost or something.....hmmmmm. Little kids stand around us and stare in amazement.
